Short-lived boxes you spin up, use, and let expire (TTL / auto-delete).

Bring your own Claude Code or Codex on the box. Midkernel does not host seats or share coding-agent accounts.

Access via SSM session, not public SSH. Prefer GitHub App tokens for repo access.

Same credit balance as Scan. 1 credit is $1. Dev Boxes meter AWS cost at face value, plus a floor so tiny sessions still bill something. Zero credits stops running Dev Boxes and cancels in-flight Scans.
